For hundred of years, Japan has celebrated the blooming of the "Sakura", ornamental blossoming cherry trees. Since Sakura bloom for only a short time each year, they serve as a powerful visual reminder of the beautiful and ephemeral nature of life. Our blossoms and branches are hand modeled in wax, cast in pewter, gold-plated, and then carefully hand painted.
